Amber Portwood’s Fiancé Matt Baier Says Having 7 Children Isn’t A ‘Negative Thing’ & More On His Bombshell Confession!

Does he or doesn’t he? After weeks of speculation regarding if Gary Shirley’s claims are correct that Amber Portwood’s fiancé Matt Baier has five child support cases against him for seven children, the Teen Mom OG star released a video confessing the truth.

During the confession, Matt slammed Gary for revealing the bombshell in front of MTV cameras. “Whether his information was accurate or not, he presented it as if it were a negative thing,” Matt explained. “That’s not the case. He had no idea what the story was behind that.”

Matt then explained how his action of not taking care of his children isn’t a negative thing. “For people to automatically say this is a negative thing or you are a deadbeat and you abandoned your children, none of that was accurate even a little bit,” he said. “I love my older kids, but they were born in a time where I wasn’t able to take care of them.”

Although Matt didn’t reveal the exact number of children he does have, he ended the video by explaining how he “made a lot of poor decisions.”

Regardless of how many children he has, Amber is sticking by her man! “My gut is he doesn’t have all seven kids, but I think some of them might be because of the way he was in the past,” Amber said. “I don’t think that he knew. Maybe he didn’t really know.”

Amber also explained how although she would “try to forgive him,” it’s still a “huge deal to me.”
