Don’t believe everything you read on social media! Just weeks after telling fans on Twitter that she would not be returning to Teen Mom 2 for its rumored sixth season, it seems that Leah Calvert has changed her mind and will be back on the show after all!
The Ashley reports that Leah has been convinced to rejoin the show, and has even officially signed her contract for the new season. Her castmates, Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry, and Jenelle Evans, apparently just started filming their segments, and filming could resume with Leah as early as next week!
However, the site reports that it’s still unclear whether or not Jeremy Calvert will be filmed for season 6. As fans know, their relationship has been tumultuous ever since he accused her of cheating on him, and we still don’t know where these two stand. He’s allegedly been trying to get with other girls! But hey, Jeremy could always pull a Dean McDermott and quit the show while his wife keeps going!

Fans assumed that Leah originally left the show because she didn’t want her very public custody battle with her twins’ father, Corey Simms, to become even more public, plus there’s that whole Jeremy sitch we just mentioned. But the reason Leah reportedly had a change of heart? She needs the money!
If the rumors are in fact true that Leah and Jeremy are getting divorced, Leah will need her MTV paycheck to help support her and her girls. Child support only goes so far.

And of course we’d imagine that Leah also came back because she wants to continue to inspire the show’s audience with her story and keep them posted on her life with her girls. We couldn’t live with ourselves knowing that we’d never get to see Ali’s health progession again on TV!
