Shots Fired! Prince William & Kate Middleton React To Meghan Markle Snub Claims
Kate Middleton and Prince William have reportedly fired back at claims that the pair snubbed Meghan Markle in their post on the @kensingtonroyal Instagram account for Prince Harry's birthday.
According to Express UK, ITV News' royal producer, Liz Robinson, noted that "Kensington Palace said people are reading too much into this and it's just a nice photo."

On September 15, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 38, shared a photo of them alongside the 36-year-old in 2017 for his birthday — which the Suits alum was not in — with the caption: "Wishing a very happy birthday to Prince Harry today!"
"The royal family's social media pages all celebrated Prince Harry's birthday with pictures," Chris Ship explained on ITV's Royal Rota. "Buckingham Palace's picture was taken at a reception in 2017 with Prince Harry and the Queen," while "Clarence Houses's was taken in 2014 at the Invictus Games," and "Kensington Palace's was also taken in 2017 and it was William, Harry and Kate doing a race for Heads Together."

Robinson noted that the Clarence House account only Prince Charles alongside Harry and that the Royal Family account only featured Her Majesty with her grandson. She questioned, "Should Prince William's account have been just William and Harry? Does having Kate there pose more questions?" Still, she said, Kate and William's official office has since denied any claims of a snub.
The sons of Princess Diana and their wives have seemingly been at odds with each other since Harry began dating the former actress in 2016 — after Harry's older brother warned him to take things slow. While Harry ignored his brother's advice and married Markle in 2018 — welcoming son Archie one year later — a family friend noted that the brothers "didn't leave their relationship on good terms by any means," PEOPLE reported in February.

Between fighting for the spotlight and both couples feeling overshadowed, it's safe to say that a double date will not be happening anytime soon. However, with the former royal couple starting a new life in Santa Barbara, California, and trying to rebuild their reputation as Hollywood stars — with the help of a multi-million dollar Netflix deal to boost their status — a family hang seems unlikely anyway!
