When you've been filming a hit show for five—yes, five—seasons, one thing is for certain—there's a lot of dirt to dish on.

So when we got to catch up with The Vampire Diaries stars Michael Malarkey and Zach Roerig at the Savannah College of Art and Design's aTVFest we had to ask them some burning questions. We got the guys to dish on everything from what they remember about their first day on set to the best pranks ever pulled off to what they want to take home from the set.

Michael, who plays Enzo, had lots to say about filming so many memorable scenes—some with real fire burning around him—with his good friend Ian Somerhalder and reveals a secret about Nina Dobrev that she may not be so psyched to know is out there.

Zach, who plays Matt Donovan, remembers his first days on the set when no one knew who was going to be cast as Stefan and everyone was anxiously awaiting the news (spoiler alert, we all know the role went to the one and only Paul Wesley). He also talks about what storyline he's loving most this season and which character he wished stayed on the show.
