Last night at the inaugural Pencils of Promise Gala at espace in NYC, Justin Bieber took a few minutes to speak about a cause very important to him — anti-bullying.
When a reporter asked for his message to those being bullied, the singer stated: “My message is, just to make sure to stand strong. If you’re watching someone being bullied, don’t be a bystander and make sure to step up.”
His mentor, Usher, also revealed to OK! how proud he is of Justin for his charitable efforts, " It’s one thing to write a check, but when you as an artist take on responsibility…it really speaks to the individual and who he will be as an artist, as an icon."
The teen dream (clad in fashionable D&G) also revealed his favorite part about touring: “My most memorable moment on tour was probably having water-balloon fights with Sean Kingston.”
You can next check out Justin on the Today show on Nov. 23 on NBC.
