NEWS181 Days After Eric Dane's Death, His Daughter Georgia Is Set to Make Her Acting Debut
Late actor Eric Dane's younger daughter, Georgia Dane, will make her acting debut alongside her mother, Rebecca Gayheart, 181 days after his death.

Actor Eric Dane’s daughter Georgia Dane is making her acting debut just six months after her father's death.
The Grey's Anatomy star died at 53 on February 19 of this year due to complications from his battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Gayheart and daughters, Billie Dane, 16, and Georgia, 14.
Eric Dane died in February this after a long battle with ALS surrounded by family.
His family issued a statement to People following his death, stating, “With heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon following a courageous battle with ALS.”
“He spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world,” they added.

Georgia Dane will make her acting debut six months after her father, Eric Dane's death.
The teenager earned her first-ever acting role in a Lifetime TV movie alongside her mother.
On August 18, the network released a synopsis of the upcoming movie, titled The Ocean Between Them, slated to release on September 26, that read, “Inspired by actual events, The Ocean Between Them stars Rebecca Gayheart (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Jawbreaker) as Joan, a devoted mother whose world is upended when her daughter Miranda disappears at sea during a vacation in Belize.”

Georgia Dane will play the role of Rebecca Gayheart's younger daughter in her debut film.
Jessica Lord will play the role of Miranda, who gets stranded at sea after “a heated argument” with her mother that leads her to go kayaking alone.
The emotional movie will focus on the unbreakable mother-daughter bond, as Miranda tries to weather the storm alone at sea while Joan pushes herself beyond her limits to rescue her daughter and bring her safely home.
Georgia will play the role of Joan’s younger daughter, Ashley, in the movie, who supports her mother through the turmoil of trying to find her sister alive.
Georgia Dane Marked Another Milestone This Year
This has been an eventful year for Georgia and her sister, Billie Dane, after losing their father.
This has been quite the eventful year for the youngster who will step into the glamorous world of Hollywood soon. Apart from starting her acting career at such a tender age, she also graduated from middle school in June this year.
Rebecca posted a sweet snap of her at the time on her Instagram account, where the aspiring actress could be seen receiving the honor on stage.
Georgia Dane graduated from middle school in June.
“Congratulations, Georgia !!! You have graduated middle school and survived an incredibly difficult year,” she wrote in the caption.
“I am so beyond proud of you—your tenacity, grit and grace has been on full display,” she continued.
“Welcome to High School — I have no doubt you're ready. I'm so excited for you!” the mom-of-two added.
“Not pictured is your MVP trophy for beach volleyball. Bravo, congratulations and I love you so much ♥️,” she wrote in conclusion.
