90 Day Fiancé's Big Ed Brown Confirms Engagement To Liz Woods, Spills Therapy Saved Their Relationship
Congratulations!
After much speculation Ed “Big Ed” Brown confirmed he is engaged to Elizabeth “Liz” Woods.
The duo’s relationship was chronicled on the first season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life. After several blowout arguments, the duo called it quits only to reconnect months later.
Brown dished to PeopleTV’s Reality Check that during their split he realized Woods was the girl of his dreams. “About a month before we got back together, I realized that I really didn't appreciate who she was and I don't want to love anybody else,” he gushed over his fiancée. “And never in a million years did I think that I would ever be together with Liz — it's just surreal.”
The 56-year-old breakout star of 90 Day Fiancé explained that seeking out therapy helped him to become a better partner to Woods. “I wasn't a good person, I wasn't a good boyfriend,” he spilled. “I didn't treat Liz like she deserved to be treated. I wasn't a good listener. That was all about me — I was so consumed with [myself].”

As for Woods, their split hit her hard as well, sending her into a downward spiral. “I struggled a lot when we broke up — I went through a really bad depression stage,” the 29-year-old explained, noting when Brown’s dog Teddy died, it gave them a chance to reconnect.
The brunette beauty reached out to her ex and slowly began chatting via email and sparks began to fly. Brown eventually invited Woods over to dinner and had a heart-to-heart with her, asking her an important question.
“The question was, 'Am I your forever?' And she said yes,” Brown recalled. “And she ended up leaving for work and I did a beeline to the jewelry store and bought the biggest diamond I could find.”
Woods noted the whole weekend was a blur. “Back together on Saturday, engaged on Sunday!” she said.
Their engagement was filmed and viewers will get a chance to see the sweet moment on season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life, premiering Friday, November 12, on discovery+.
