Aja Metoyer Shares Cryptic Quotes After Dwyane Wade Baby Scandal Resurfaces: 'Life Is Beating My Ass Right Now'

After Dwyane Wade’s baby scandal with Aja Metoyer resurfaced following the former athlete’s wife Gabrielle Union’s heartbreaking retelling of the ordeal, the reality TV star shared a series of snaps via social media.
“I won’t say life is beating my ass right now… but the bi**h got hands,” she shared on her Instagram Story Thursday, September 16. She followed that post up with a cryptic quote about checking your partner’s phone to see if they are “cheating” and you “find screenshots of u cheating.”
Now technically, the retired Miami Heat player didn’t cheat on Union with the Basketball Wives star as he and his now-wife were on a break when Metoyer got pregnant with their son Xavier, now 7.
Nonetheless, the ordeal destroyed the Bring It On actress. “To say I was devastated is to pick a word on a low shelf for convenience. There are people — strangers who I will never meet — who have been upset that I have not previously talked about that trauma,” the 48-year-old actress wrote in her new memoir, You Got Anything Stronger?, which hit shelves earlier this week.
“I have not had words, and even after untold amounts of therapy I am not sure I have them now. But truth matters,” she heartbreakingly recalled.

After the 39-year-old former NBA star revealed he knocked-up another woman, Union detailed the news gutted her as she was struggling with fertility issues.
“The experience of Dwayne having a baby so easily — while I was unable to — left my soul not just broken into pieces, but shattered into fine dust scattering in the wind,” the Being Mary Jane star, who was experiencing fertility struggles at the time explained. “We gathered what we could to slowly remake me into something new. There was no way to disguise where I’d been glued back together.”
The former America’s Got Talent judge eventually forgave Wade as the duo got engaged in December 2013 and tied the knot in 2014.
The loving couple decided on surrogacy and welcomed daughter Kaavia in 2018. The L.A.’s Finest alum is also stepmom to Wade’s three other children — two from his marriage to Siohvaughn Funches, and Xavier with Metoyer. The Olympic gold medal winner is also the guardian of his nephew, Dahveon Morris.
