In Hot Water — Again! Police 'Investigated' Armie Hammer After He Calls Mystery Woman 'Miss Cayman' In Seductive Private Instagram Post
Amid his shocking DM’s scandal, Armie Hammer has landed himself in even more trouble. This time around, Grand Cayman police spoke to the actor last week about footage of a lingerie-clad woman, who he called Miss Cayman, on his alleged private Instagram account.
"On January 15, 2021, the RCIPS received an allegation of misuse of ICT in relation to a suggestive video which had been posted on social media," police said. "Officers investigated the matter and spoke to the suspect, who was warned about his conduct, in accordance with the wishes of the complainant."
Hammer was not brought into custody or arrested, and the case is now closed.
"I would like to clarify that the person in my video, which was stolen from my private Instagram, is not Miss Cayman," Hammer told the Cayman Compass on Sunday, January 17. "I am genuinely sorry for any confusion my foolish attempt at humor may have caused."
"My deep sympathies to Miss Cayman, who I don’t know, and to the entire organization as I had no intentions of implying she was actually Miss Cayman."
"Well … my ex (for very good reason) wife [Elizabeth Chambers] is refusing to come back to America with my children. So I have to go back to Cayman … which sucks," Hammer allegedly captioned a picture of a woman on all fours. "Except there are a few silver linings. Like f**king Ms. Cayman again while I’m down there."
Chambers and Hammer called it quits in July 2020 after a decade of marriage. Chambers and their children, Harper and Ford, stayed in the Cayman Islands throughout the coronavirus pandemic, while Hammer has been going back and forth to Los Angeles.

The Miss Cayman Islands Universe Committee later said they were disturbed by the post.
"[We] would like to confirm that the woman is not the reigning Miss Cayman Islands [Mariah Tibbetts] and has no affiliation to the Miss Cayman Islands Universe pageant," chairperson Derri Ann said. "The Committee and the reigning Miss Cayman regard this issue with the utmost seriousness and the matter has been reported to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS)."
"The role of Miss Cayman is in part, to serve as a role model to young Caymanian women. The depiction of the woman in the video goes against all that our organization stands for and the Committee is consequently requesting that Mr. Hammer immediately remove all references to Miss Cayman from his social media channels."
Earlier this month — after DMs allegedly sent by Hammer went viral — the Hollywood star stepped down from his role in the upcoming flick Shotgun Wedding.
"I'm not responding to these bull***t claims, but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot, in good conscience now, leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic," the 34-year-old stated. "Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I'm grateful to them for that."
In the shocking messages, Hammer allegedly discussed killing a deer and eating its heart raw, in addition to branding himself as a cannibal.
Page Six first reported the news about police speaking with Hammer about the post.
