Britney Spears Makes Rare Public Appearance, Dresses Down For Shopping Spree In Malibu
Although Britney Spears normally keeps a low profile, the 39-year-old was seen shopping in Malibu on Thursday, April 15.
The blonde beauty wore a white facemask to keep safe and previously shared that she got her COVID-19 vaccine. She kept herself hidden behind Ray-Bans.
Spears looked casual but chic in a brown blazer with matching brown sandals, dark jeans and a gray shirt while she left her long tresses in lose waves.
She was seen at the Madison clothing store at the Malibu Country Mart and after her shopping spree, one of Spears' security guards held her shopping bags as she made her way back to her car.
Public sightings of Spears have been few and far between, especially since the release of Framing Britney Spears earlier this year, which took a deep dive into her conservatorship. However, Spears admitted that she was actually "embarrassed" by the New York Times doc and "cried" for two weeks.

"More than anything, Britney really values her privacy. She's been judged her whole life," an OK! insider previously shared.
"Of course, the filmmakers tried for a long period of time to get an interview or comment from Britney, but it was something [she and her team] agreed to turn down," the source continued. "She's found all the public coverage unsettling and highly humiliating. So, she finally addressed the doc — and spoke from the heart — and said all that she wants to say."
Spears is still under her conservatorship. Bessemer Trust was appointed as the co-conservator of her estate earlier this year and will work alongside her existing conservator, which is her father, Jamie Spears. In March, her attorney filed a petition to have Jodi Montgomery replace Jamie as the conservator of her personal affairs.
Page Six was the first to report on Spears' shopping spree.
