Claudia Conway Reemerges On Social Media With Lengthy Update On Flawed Family, Insists She Is 'Safe'
She’s back! Claudia Conway returned to Twitter on Friday, July 2 — and gave a shocking update on her formerly fractured family in a lengthy statement.
"Everyday brings a new start. a new opportunity to project love and forgiveness out to our world," the 16-year-old — who last posted on the social media platform in May – began her statement. "As a young girl in the spotlight, i know i have overlooked that opportunity periodically."
“My social media presence is far from who i am. i preach love and harmony and i would never want to use my presence to display malevolent intentions,” the former American Idol contestant wrote. “My family life has been brought into the spotlight and it should not have. i can report that things are much better.
“The love i have for my family will never deteriorate. we all have our flaws. we all have our days. we are all human. time teaches you maturity and forgiveness. it relieves your naïveté and ignorance if you allow it to. i have,” she continued. “I am young. i am learning."
“Contrary to popular belief, the mainstream media (especially intruding on a teenager’s life) only accounts for 0.01% of what is going on. what you see is not always the truth,” Conway admitted. “I took many steps back and handled my personal life offline and things are better than ever.”

“I can finally and fortunately tell you, with all the elation in my heart, that i am happy and safe. forgiveness has taught me a lot,” the TikTok star continued. "I love my mother and she will always inspire me, despite our public conflicts. i am proud that we are living proof of breaking the cycle.
“I am excited to see what this life has to offer. i want to use my presence to spread light and that is exactly what i am going to do. i love all of you beautiful people endlessly, especially those who doubt me,” she added, before thanking her nearly 545,000 followers for their love and support.
As OK! previously reported, the Conway family was in the midst of what appeared to be an internal crisis earlier this year. The teenager's mother, Kellyanne Conway, was under investigation after a topless photo of her minor daughter was allegedly posted on her Twitter account, a spokesperson for the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office exclusively told OK! in February.
The photo in question was said to be posted on January 25 on Kellyanne’s Fleets on Twitter — which is similar to Instagram’s Story feature, which disappears 24 hours later.
Around the same time officers visited Kellyanne’s home in New Jersey in January, Claudia told her fans that she was quitting social media. "My mom and I, we fight like mothers and daughters, but we also love like mothers and daughters, and I do love her. I will be taking a break from social media because we are really tired of being headlines," she said at the time.
