The book reveals that after Jenner's father, Bob Houghton, tragically died in a car accident in Mexico in 1975, she and her boyfriend at the time, professional golfer Cesar Sanudo, crossed the border to claim his body. 

It was then that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star almost caused an international incident when she accused one of the Mexican police officers of stealing her father’s Rolex watch.

"Kris’s grieving was interrupted when she spotted what she believed was her father’s Rolex watch on the wrist of a Mexican police officer. She flipped and accused the police of stealing the watch off a dead man’s wrist," the book states. "Cesar spoke Spanish and managed to talk his way out the potential incident that Kris’s outburst could have caused."

Sanudo was 12 years older than the momager and had travelled around the world with her, taking her with him as he went from one international golf tournament to another. But, as was all too common for Jenner, she grew bored of him, and when she found out he had been unfaithful, she packed up her things — and his! — and left.
