Tiger Woods didn't appear to be taking his DUI arrest too seriously when cops apprehended him on Friday, March 27.
As OK! reported, authorities reported to the scene in Jupiter Island, Fla., to respond to a car crash involving the athlete, soon discovering he was showing signs of impairment.
'This Is Fun'

Tiger Woods appeared groggy in a cop car when he blurted out, 'This is fun.'
When the golfer, 50, was placed in the back of the cop car, he had a blank expression and looked groggy as he stared out the window with a sheet wrapped around him.
Woods, who had the hiccups, yawned at one point and also shockingly blurted out, "This is fun," bodycam footage revealed. The star appeared glassy-eyed in his mugshot.
Though he passed a breathalyzer test, he was found with two hydrocodone pills in his pocket and refused to submit a urine sample. He said he took prescription medication that morning and suffers from crippling pain due to multiple injuries and surgeries.

The golfer entered a not guilty plea in his DUI arrest.
The dad-of-two blamed his car accident on being distracted by his phone and changing radio channels.
"The driver of [the pickup truck] looked in his mirror and saw a dark colored Land Rover overtaking him at high speeds," an officer reported. "He tried to edge off to the side of the road, but this is a small two-lane road and there was no shoulder for this pressure cleaner gentleman to get off the side of the road. As he was trying to move to the side of the road, the Land Rover overtook him at the last minute, swerved to avoid a collision, but clipped the back end of the trailer."

The Athlete Is Seeking Treatment

The father-of-two announced he's seeking treatment to focus on his health.
He entered a not guilty plea, but on March 31, the sports icon revealed he was getting help.
"I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health," he wrote on social media. "This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery."
"I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally," his message continued. "I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time."
Inside Tiger Woods' Troubled History

Tiger Woods has been in multiple car crashes over the years.
This isn't Woods' first car accident, as he suffered terrible injuries during a 2021 crash. He also had a headline-making crash into a tree and fire hydrant in 2009 when his jaw-dropping infidelity scandal was exposed.
In addition, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in 2017 but made a plea deal to a lesser offense of reckless driving.
