Erika Jayne's Estranged Husband Tom Girardi Reportedly Moves Into Senior Living Home After Being Disbarred By California Federal Court
Tom Girardi has some new digs.
Daily Mail reported that the 82-year-old was spotted checking into a senior living home in Burbank., Calif., on Sunday, August 22. In pictures obtained by the outlet, the former lawyer — who was diagnosed with late on-set Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in March — sported a pensive expression, while dressed in a purple sweater, a blue shirt and slacks.
Girardi isn’t the only one who has relocated after he and estranged wife Erika Jayne put their former Pasadena mansion on the market for $13 million amid their ongoing legal woes. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 50, is now shacking up in a Spanish-style home in Los Angeles that rents for a reported $7,500 per month and is estimated to be worth $2.2 million.
Things have gone from bad to worse for Girardi: On Friday, August 20, he was officially disbarred by California Federal Court.

Meanwhile, the trustee presiding over Girardi’s involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy case recently hired auction company ThreeSixty Asset Advisors to put together an auction to pay off creditors, after he was accused of embezzling the funds intended for victims of the Lion Air Flight 610 plane crash in 2018.
Creditors claim the once-respected lawyer spent millions of the money intended for the family of the victims in the crash to furnish the reality TV star’s lavish lifestyle.
According to a legal letter obtained by Page Six, Girardi's law firm allegedly transfered more than $25 million into Jayne’s company EJ Global LLC, which was spent on her American Express bill, assistants and a glam squad.
Jayne and Girardi's legal woes have been a hot topic during the current season of RHOBH. On the Wednesday, August 18, episode of the reality series, the Pretty Mess author's cast-mates expressed their doubt that Jayne was telling the complete truth about her knowledge of Girardi's business dealings.
During a tense dinner, the ladies confronted Jayne, who claimed she wasn't aware that her ex had given her $20 million in loans from his law firm, explaining, "I was kept away from the books."
