Newly unsealed federal court documents reveal that P----- founder Hugh Hefner contacted the FBI in 2005 to report that former Playmate Audra Christiansen had been sexually abused and trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein.
Hefner reportedly placed multiple calls to the agency on her behalf, but the FBI did not investigate or follow up on the tip for roughly 15 years.
Christiansen confided in Hefner in 2005 while staying at the P----- Mansion, stating she was a survivor of sexual abuse and trafficking by Epstein and his associates.
FBI Didn't Contact Hugh Hefner's Playmate for 15 Years

Hugh Hefner made multiple phone calls to the FBI reporting the allegations.
Christiansen asked Hefner to contact federal authorities directly because she believed a prominent figure like him would carry more weight and status with law enforcement.
Hefner made multiple phone calls to the FBI reporting the allegations of r--- and s-- trafficking.
FBI failed to act on or properly investigate Christiansen's disclosures for about 15 years, finally reaching out to her in October 2020.
Playmate Claimed Jeffrey Epstein Trafficked Her for '10 Years'

Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial for s-- trafficking.
The revelation surfaced in a lawsuit filed by Epstein survivors against the federal government, accusing the FBI of negligence and violating mandatory protocols by ignoring credible tips regarding child abuse and s-- trafficking.
“For about fifteen years, the FBI did not investigate Christiansen’s tips or follow up on her allegations,” the court documents said, adding that Christiansen said shortly after meeting Epstein, “before she knew it she was naked and r---- by Epstein” and then “trafficked for 10 years.”
The complaint said the FBI’s neglect “violated mandatory policies and protocols requiring it to investigate claims, like Ms. Christiansen’s, of child sexual abuse and trafficking” and by “failing to investigate credible tips, such as Ms. Christiansen’s allegations, the FBI created a foreseeable zone of risk to future victims of Epstein’s s-- trafficking enterprise, including Plaintiffs.”

'Devastating But Not Surprising'

The FBI has faced backlash for their handling of Epstein victims' claims.
Arick Fudali, an attorney who represents several Epstein survivors, told NewsNation, “The latest reporting about the FBI ignoring complaints about Epstein in 2005 is devastating but not surprising. Law enforcement has failed Epstein’s survivors for decades and continues to do so today at the highest level.”
Federal prosecutors filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, arguing that the survivors filed too late, stating that plaintiffs "were put on public notice of their claims in 2019 and repeatedly thereafter.”
Hugh Hefner's History of Sexual Assault Allegations

Hugh Hefner also faced sexual assault accusations before and after his 2017 death.
Hefner himself was accused of systematic sexual misconduct, manipulation, drug-facilitated sexual assault, r--- and enabling other abusers.
Since he died in 2017, numerous former Playmates, girlfriends and employees have come forward to detail the dark reality behind the P----- brand.
