Jenna Bush Hager confused an image of Law & Order SVU star Mariska Hargitay with a picture of herself during an on-air game.
The anchor, 44, joined her co-host, Sheinelle Jones, in a guessing game while celebrating "amazing women" on the August 24 episode of TODAY With Jenna and Sheinelle.
Production showed the hosts silhouettes of famous women along with three clues, and they were tasked with guessing which celebrity's silhouette went with the fun facts.
'Is That Me?'
Jenna Bush Hager confused her signature bob during an on-air game.
Bush Hager immediately got off on the wrong foot as soon as she was shown the first photo.
"Is that me?" she asked when the image was pulled up on the screen, before Jones read the clues out loud.
"She speaks five languages, do you?" Jones asked, listing off the fun facts about the woman in question.
'How Many Women in this Building Have Bobs?'
Jenna Bush Hager noticed that she was wrong when receiving more clues.
Bush Hager quickly realized she had made an unfortunate mistake and mumbled to explain her line of thinking.
"Only English," she admitted. "Does that not look like a bob?"
The mom-of-three chopped her hair into its now-signature blonde bob a year prior, though Jones pointed out that many women are now rocking the trendy hairstyle.
"It does look like you, but how many women in this building have bobs?" she noted.

Mariska Hargitay will host the Emmy awards, unlike Jenna Bush Hager.
The other clues in the game included that the famous woman they were trying to guess had won an Emmy and a Golden Globe, and she was slated to host the 2026 Emmy Awards.
"I know who it is and that's why the bob was what threw me off," Bush Hager exclaimed. "It is Mariska Hargitay. But I didn't know that Mariska spoke that many languages."
Jones and Bush Hager moved on with their game without incident as they highlighted and guessed the accomplishments of Diana Ross and Olivia Dean.
Jenna Bush Hager debuted her bob last year.
Bush Hager debuted her short hairstyle in 2025, noting that the cut had been inspired by White Lotus actress Leslie Bibb.
"You made this haircut so famous, and then I used your hairstylist, who is a star, to get the exact same haircut, and I'm feeling a little strange," she told Bibb on the morning talk show at the time.
"I felt lighter," she added of the chop. "There's a lot of change happening, and I feel a little embarrassed by the attention. Which I know the people who work with me are like, 'Mother loves attention,' But I felt a little embarrassed."
