Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Are 'Slowly Starting To Talk About The Future,' Spills Source
Things are reportedly getting serious between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.
The Hustlers star, 51, spent the weekend in Los Angeles, Calif. for business purposes — but also made sure to spend some time with Affleck. The two — who were together from 2002 to 2004 — were spotted enjoying a sweet embrace en route to a romantic dinner in West Hollywood.
"They will continue to travel back and forth between Los Angeles and Miami," an insider said. "They are very happy together." The pair are even said to be "slowly starting to talk about the future."
"This is not a casual relationship," the source explained. "They are taking it seriously and want it to be long-lasting."
This isn't the first time the lovebirds — who first connected in 2002 on set of Gigli — have been seen together since rekindling their romance. Lopez and Affleck, 48, were spotted in Miami on May 24, where they hit up a local gym and shared a smooch in between working out. Earlier in May, the duo also enjoyed a Montana getaway.
"They were holding hands, hugging, kissing. They weren't trying to hide the fact that they were together," an insider noted at the time. "They are very much into each other and being together."
OK! was the first to exclusively report that Lopez and her ex-fiancé were "talking in private" as her relationship with Alex Rodriguez fell apart. And ever since A. Rod and the "Hit The Floor" singer split up in April, Bennifer has been inseparable.
Still, Lopez and Affleck have yet to officially confirm their relationship status. They reportedly planned to announce that they had reunited before photos of them together emerged.
"[Ben] stayed at her house [in April], and she was planning to make an announcement that they are back together on Instagram," a source explained. "It’s all about timing with her."
While sources have said that the two don't want to "hide" their love, both Affleck and Lopez have yet to make a public comment.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez has also stayed mum about his ex reuniting with Affleck. The former Yankees slugger and Lopez got together in 2017, and he popped the question in 2019 — but the two were forced to postpone their wedding twice amid the coronavirus pandemic. In April, Lopez and the 45-year-old ended their engagement following rumors of his alleged fling with Southern Charm's Madison LeCroy.
"Jennifer is angry about what Alex did when they were engaged, while Alex is angry about what Jennifer did after they broke the engagement off," an OK! insider spilled after the pair announced their split. "Which explains why they are no longer speaking."
"It's such a tough pill to swallow for Alex," another OK! insider said. "Seeing her gallivant around with Ben feels like a massive kick in the teeth."
However, the insider said their relationship wasn't all that it seemed. "Their time together wasn't anything like the fairy tale they tried to project to the world," the insider explained. "Alex was more in love with the idea of them than the actual relationship itself."
