Not Just A Fling! Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck 'Telling Friends That They're Together' As A Couple
Not-so casual! Bennifer isn’t just a fling, it's apparently a full-fledged relationship — again. According to a source, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have confirmed that they are serious about dating again by telling friends that they’re officially a couple.
The report comes just a month after the not-so-new pair were first seen hanging out in public, and suspicions over their possible new romance have been making headlines ever since.
Lopez, 51, and Affleck, 48, aren’t exactly unfamiliar with each other. Their dating history goes back to the early 2000s, when Affleck popped the question in 2002 before the pair ended up calling it quits on their engagement in 2004.
“J.Lo and Ben are very much a couple and have been telling friends that they’re together,” an Entertainment Tonight source confirmed. “When they first reconnected they had to see if the spark was still there because it had been a while. It was, so now they are both fully in it.”

The source also noted that the reunited couple are not ignoring their complicated history, noting that they have “talked about the past and why things didn’t work out. They are both hopeful about their relationship this time around and putting the effort in. They have both matured and are on the same page and it has been easy.”
The “Jenny From The Block” singer is particularly “elated” about her rekindled romance with the Argo star. “[She] really trusts Ben. Ben is more traditional and low-key in his values and Jen is into that. She likes that they can go on dates and have fun. She also thinks that Ben is extremely smart and has a lot of great input.”
OK! recently learned that Affleck and Lopez intend to spend a lot of time together this summer, despite their distant locations in L.A. and Miami, respectively. The reunited pair are “discussing summer plans,” according to a source. “[They] want to spend as much time together as possible. They also want to take a trip.”
The Hollywood couple recently rented an $18 million mansion in Miami for a romantic getaway, and their steamy summer plans seem to just be getting started.
The Latin superstar has also reportedly been looking into schools in Affleck's neck of the woods, so it seems that this is just the beginning for Bennifer 2.0.
