John Mulaney's Estranged Wife Shares Hauntingly Cryptic Self-Portrait Taken Same Day It Was Revealed Comedian Went To Rehab
One month after news broke that John Mulaney reportedly asked estranged wife Anna Marie Tendler for a divorce, the artist shared a haunting photo of herself from the day it was revealed that the comedian went to rehab.
While Tendler didn't exactly address the connection between the self-portrait and Mulaney's rehab stay, she captioned the photo: "The Great Conjunction (December 21, 2020)," which was the same day news broke that Mulaney checked himself in to get help. The photo, posted Sunday, June 6, showed Tendler lying alone on the floor of a dark bedroom.

The former flames have kept their troubled relationship under wraps since their divorce made headlines last month. However, it appears Tendler is hinting at her side of the story through her expressively beautiful art.
The Great Conjunction, which she referred to in her caption, is the day that Jupiter and Saturn are in rare alignment. This infrequent occurrence will "shake things up politically, socially, and in your personal life as well," according to Allure.
The day, which apparently only happens once every 20 years, is meant to be completely life-changing. And while those changes are supposed to make life better, it was most likely hard for Tendler to understand that during such a tumultuous time in the couple's lives.

The brunette beauty's only direct statement about the couple's split came after the comedian's representative confirmed the two were over. At the time, Tendler said she was "heartbroken" that Mulaney — who checked himself into rehab for 60 days at the end of last year after struggling with alcohol and drug abuse — "decided to end [their] marriage."
Mulaney, 38, called it quits with Tendler following their six-year marriage shortly after he checked himself out of rehab in February and entered outpatient care.
OK! recently learned that Mulaney wasn't the only one struggling, as Tendler reportedly entered rehab around the same time as her husband for emotional reasons. According to sources, she suffered over his alleged infidelity; he was said to have attended strip clubs and gave dancers his number.
She didn't discuss Mulaney's rehab stint, but it was "clear she suffered during their marriage," spilled a source.
And while Tendler is now focusing on her art, Mulaney is busy with his rumored new flame, Olivia Munn. The two first met at church in Los Angeles and immediately hit it off. Besides the actress publicly offering support when the former SNL writer announced he was going to rehab, the two were apparently exchanging texts while he sought treatment.
"Things obviously turned romantic after he got out," an insider said of their blooming romance.
