Josh Heuston’s departure from Off Campus has taken fans by surprise, especially following recent teasers regarding Season 2.
The 29-year-old actor, who portrayed Justin, expressed his hopes for the character's future in an interview with Us Weekly prior to the announcement of his exit.
Heuston stated, “That’s above my pay grade, but I just hope Justin finds love and continues to be happy while writing music.”
His sentiments reflect a desire for Justin to thrive, even as he transitions away from the series.

“Not next season, but I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point,” she commented.

She acknowledged that Justin’s absence was not the original plan, stating, “We don’t have him [available] next season, but never say never.”
