During a recent episode of Live With Kelly and Mark, Ripa spoke with her husband and co-host, Mark Consuelos, about his tendency to "get rid" of things.
'The Fact That I'm Still Here Is Amazing'

Mark Consuelos admitted he loves 'getting rid of stuff.'
"He throws away..." Ripa started, before adding, "The fact that I'm still here is amazing. I don't know how I've convinced him."
Consuelos was open about his love for decluttering.
"I love getting rid of stuff," he admitted, to which the former soap opera star replied, "I know you do."
"I love it. Love it, love it, love it," Consuelos continued to emphasize.
'I Can't Believe You've Only Had 1 Wife'

Mark Consuelos said Kelly Ripa is still around because he likes 'valuable stuff.'
Ripa took the conversation one step further, teasing her husband about how ruthless he can be when deciding what stays and what goes.
"I can't believe you've only had one wife," she quipped. "It is weird."
The dad-of-three got sentimental, adding, "I like, I like valuable stuff," referring to his wife.
Ripa responded with an affectionate "awwww" before Consuelos added one final joke: "The minute you become invaluable. Ready?"

The Couple Is Always Joking About Their Marriage

The stars been together for 30 years.
During the May 1 episode of Live, the couple celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in front of the audience, with Ripa starting the show by declaring, "We did it!"
The actress called her marriage to Consuelos "the best thing I've ever done in my life" and "the smartest decision I ever made."
However, the Riverdale alum couldn’t resist making another one of his signature jokes.
"It wasn’t supposed to work out," he said, to which Ripa asked, "Is that what you were hoping for?"
Sticking to the bit, the actor continued, "It wasn’t a decision. It was destiny. Because I had a lot of choices," as Ripa laughed hysterically.
"You wish," she snapped back.
'Every Day' Is Their Anniversary

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are still as in love as they were 30 years ago.
Despite their banter, Ripa made it clear their love story has always felt a little unexpected.
"It was the most ludicrous idea — until you asked," she confessed, adding that her bond with her spouse feels just as strong as it did three decades ago.
The bubbly blonde revealed she doesn’t wait for a specific date to celebrate their partnership, as she feels like "every day is our anniversary."
The famous spouses' love story started in 1995, when they met on the set of the TV show All My Children. Ripa and Consuelos eloped in Las Vegas one year later before welcoming three kids: Michael, 29, Lola, 25, and Joaquin, 23.
