King Charles Says 'You're the Problem Now' as Prince William and Kate Middleton Resist Reunion With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Sources Reveal

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's upcoming return to the United Kingdom reportedly has Prince William and Kate Middleton feeling uneasy.

According to a source, King Charles is not happy with the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 45, potentially blocking peace within the royal family.

An insider told Closer Online recently how Charles, 77, "believes the division" between Kate, William, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has "weakened the monarchy."

"He desperately wants his family to present a united front. He feels William, and even Kate at times, can be stubborn about Harry – and wants them to rethink. But William and Kate have refused to meet with the Sussexes," the source said.

"For a long time, Harry and Meghan were seen as trouble – but for the king, there’s now a rising sense of anger that William and Kate are standing in the way of any reconciliation and have in fact become the source of his problem," they continued.

The insider also added the sovereign essentially believes the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge "are the problem now."

According to the insider, Charles is "pushing for a face-to-face meeting at Balmoral [Castle] in an attempt to find a way through the family impasse – and Kate and William are coming under increased pressure to find a way forward."

The Suits star, 45, and the Invictus Games founder, 41, left The Firm in 2020 and headed to North America in order to set up a life for themselves away from the royal limelight.

It was then announced on August 19 that Meghan and Harry would be coming back to England for an extended period of time, with their kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, starting school there in the fall.

William and Kate were also reportedly "blindsided" by Meghan and Harry's grand comeback to Britain.

The heir to the throne allegedly didn't expect Meghan and his estranged brother to return so soon after stepping back from royal duties six years prior.

“That tells you everything,” a source told Rob Shuter’s Substack page earlier this month. “If this were really about rebuilding trust with the royal family, the palace would have been given the respect of making the announcement. Instead, Harry and Meghan made the announcement themselves in America.”

“They are still loose cannons. Nobody knows what they are going to do next, and nobody at the palace wants to find out through the American media," another insider claimed about the Sussexes.
