'Love Is Blind' Star Mark Cuevas Claims Pregnant Fiancée Received Death Threats, Hundreds Of Harassing Messages — Arrest Made
Mark Cuevas, a fan favorite from Netflix’s smash hit Love is Blind, is claiming that a woman from his pregnant fiancée’s past is threatening her and their unborn child.
Mark says his fiancée, Aubrey Rainey — whose due date is today — was one of the victims of a series of hit-and-run crashes last year in Ohio. Westlake PD Gerald Vogel named Shayla Harris as the suspect responsible for those crashes, and she was charged with attempted murder.
Harris was accused of striking four people and two dogs in three separate hit-and-run incidents in April 2020, according to Cleveland 19 News. The suspect pleaded not guilty to four counts of attempted murder, eight counts of felonious assault and two counts of injuring animals. Harris was referred to a psychiatric clinic where she will undergo treatment while the judge decides if she is competent to stand trial.
It is now being reported that after Harris was released on bond in connection with the accidents, she recently sent death threats via Facebook and Instagram to Rainey, according to TMZ.
Cuevas and his fiancée filed a police report after Harris’ vicious threats, and she has been arrested by Westlake Police for misdemeanor aggravated menacing. In Cueva’s Instagram video, he claims that Harris sent more than 100 harassing messages to Rainey.

Cuevas proposed to his pregnant girlfriend on Wednesday, November 25. “Forever sounds good baby🌹💍,” the reality TV star captioned his post via Instagram alongside a slideshow celebrating their engagement.
The bride-to-be shared the same PDA pics on her account, writing, "I never figured out the true meaning of happiness until you ❤️ I couldn’t feel more grateful and excited to spend the rest of forever with you! 💍."
Cuevas and Rainey made their relationship Instagram official in July, one month after Cuevas and his LIB former costar Lauren “LC” Chamblin called it quits due to rumors of infidelity on Cuevas' behalf.
While competing on season 1 of the Netflix show, Cuevas proposed to Jessica Batten sight unseen following a scandalous love triangle between the two and fellow contestant Matthew Barnett. After getting engaged, Batten ended up leaving him at the altar, citing their 10-year age difference as a factor in her decision.
