Mary Trump, a psychologist and prominent critic of her uncle, stated that President Donald Trump is “decompensating in real time” after he shared a flood of AI-generated images on Truth Social.
Her critique focused on a series of unusual photos the president posted over Labor Day weekend.
These included depictions of him trading stocks from the Resolute Desk, wearing a Star Wars-style Space Force uniform and overlaying his own face silhouette onto an upside-down, orange map of Iran.
'Just Look at the Insanity'
Mary Trump called out the 'insanity' of the president's recent social media posting spree.
“Donald is decompensating in real time — just look at the insanity he’s posted on social media today,” Mary, 61, posted on Sunday, September 7. “By refusing to invoke the 25th Amendment, Republicans prove once again that they are willing to ignore the Constitution to protect him at our expense."
Several people have called for Donald Trump to be removed from office via the 25th Amendment.
Many agreed with her, including progressive influencer Harry Sisson, who also posted along with a massive list of the 80-year-old president’s AI posts: “This man is unwell. 25th Amendment NOW.”
Anti-Trump X account Call to Activism asked, “Trump’s Truth Social right now is pure chaos. What exactly is the 25th Amendment for, if not this?”
Mary previously called for the 25th Amendment to be used against her uncle in January 2021 after his first term ended.

Commentators and lawmakers pointed to odd behavior on the world stage — including doubling down on a plan to "purchase" Greenland, blaming the Norwegian government for missing out on the Nobel Peace Prize, and massive cabinet turnover, including the firing of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Attorney General Pam Bondi.
More than 80 House Democrats and multiple Senators have demanded action, as have former MAGA figures such as Marjorie Taylor Greene, who posted "25TH AMENDMENT!!!" on April 8, writing that the threat to kill an entire civilization was "evil and madness."
