Bennifer 2.0 has the full support of Matt Damon.
The Stillwater actor gushed over best friend Ben Affleck's relationship with Jennifer Lopez, saying he's "so happy" for the lovebirds, who have rekindled their romance years after calling off their 2003 wedding.
"I’m just so happy for him. He’s the best," Damon, 50, candidly told Extra on Monday, July 26, of his Good Will Hunting costar. "He deserves every happiness in the world. I’m glad for both of them."
Damon's seal of approval on the Hollywood couple's romance comes after he played coy about Affleck and Lopez's relationship back in May. At the time, Damon — who is set to star in The Last Duel with Affleck — attempted to dodge questions about their relationship, saying, "I love them both. I hope it’s true. That would be awesome."
However, he appeared to have gotten the OK to discuss their romance after the Argo actor and "On The Floor" songstress went Instagram official with their relationship in a post shared by the former Fly Girl's BFF Leah Remini.
Lopez — who was recently spotted wearing a necklace emblazoned with the actor's name — and her beau have been hot and heavy ever since they were first spotted together after the Hustlers star called off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez in April.
The rekindled flames have since been enjoying their loved-up vacation in the South of France for Lopez's birthday on July 24, with the two publicly flaunting their romance on their mega-yacht. The power couple nearly broke the internet over the weekend when the singer posted a snap of the two sharing a passionate kiss — and they didn't stop there.
Affleck and Lopez appeared to be satisfying Bennifer 2.0 fans while on their luxury yacht, as they seemingly reenacted their sexy scene from the pop star's 2002 "Jenny From the Block" music video, during which Lopez's Gigli costar grabs her booty. Recent snaps from their getaway show Affleck placing his hand on the brunette beauty's rear while she flaunted her fit physique in a stunning bikini.
After flaunting their steamy love on their yacht romp, the good-looking couple enjoyed a night on the town at St-Tropez restaurant L’Opéra, where they were seen sharing smiles as they enjoyed an intimate dinner for two.
It looks like the power couple has no plans to slow down their romance, as they picked up right where they left off despite taking a 17-year break. In fact, an insider dished that J.Lo may even be rocking some new bling on that finger in the near future after it was reported that the two have been spending time with each other's children.
"Neither Ben nor Jen are messing about here. This isn’t a silly game," insisted the source. "If Jen wasn’t serious about Ben, he wouldn’t be having dinner with her kids, mom and sister."
