Offers seem to be drying up for Elliot Page instead of finding new opportunities after 'The Odyssey.'

Elliot Page isn't getting the reception from Hollywood he might have expected after his brilliant performance in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey.
An insider told Radar Online, “Elliot isn't talking like somebody whose enthusiasm for acting has disappeared. It's the opposite – he feels more comfortable, focused and ambitious, but the volume of opportunities hasn't caught up with where he believes he is creatively. But the reality is he is marooned in Hollywood now.”
“That's what makes the situation particularly frustrating,” they added.

Another source told the outlet, “Elliot has just appeared in one of the biggest movies imaginable for one of the industry's most powerful directors, so you might expect scripts and offers to be pouring through the door.”
“The reality has been very different. He is in this frustrating position where he feels creatively stronger than ever but is still waiting for Hollywood to recognize that,” they added.
The Odyssey marked the actor’s second film with Nolan. He first appeared as Ariadne in the director’s 2010 masterpiece Inception.
Elliot Page said he loved working with Christopher Nolan in 'Inception' despite his personal discomfort with himself at the time.
Speaking to Kevin McCarthy on the “On Film...With Kevin McCarthy” podcast, he recalled his experience working with Nolan for the first time.
“When you do ask me about Ariadne (in Inception), I had such a great time being in that movie, I had such a great time working with Chris, but I was also personally really uncomfortable,” he said, referring to the fact that he still had not come out yet.
The Oscar-nominated actor came out as transgender in 2020. Since then, navigating the industry has seemingly been an uphill battle for the star. Although he reportedly hoped that The Odyssey would open new doors for him, it appears that the industry hasn't quite caught up yet.

Elliot Page Is Excited to Give His Best to Hollywood
Elliot Page would love to do get some 'good' opportunities in Hollywood.
When asked by the host whether he was fielding “a zillion calls," Page replied, “No, Kevin, I'm not! So, if someone wants to call me…”
“I know I get some pushback for being – Canadian? I don't know what it's about,” he joked.
The 39-year-old actor also shared that he feels ready to give his best to Hollywood as he finally is prepared and unburdened. The only problem right now seems to be finding work that speaks to him.
“I'd really love to do, ideally, good work. That's what I'd love to do,” he said.
Elliot Page believes he is finally ready to give his best performance in Hollywood.
“And I feel like I'm in a place where, you know, it is actually interesting when you ask me about maybe, I don't know, if this is weird or too personal,” he continued before explaining that he didn't feel quite free in the early days of his career, which he believes held him back to a certain degree.
“But I feel now, 'cause that's removed and I don't have to deal with that in my acting, in my performances, I'm like, 'I feel like I could do some of my best work now,’” he added.
