Josh Duggar Found Guilty On Both Charges Of Possessing & Receiving Child Pornography As Bombshell Trial Ends

Josh Duggar has been found guilty on two counts of posessing and receiving child pornography.
He is reportedly being detained into custody, according to reports from The Sun. “Mr. Duggar 100 percent has been compliant awaiting trial," Judge Timothy L Brooks said on Thursday. "I appreciate that and I wanted to acknowledge that."
"However because of the guilty offenses, he must be detained regardless of flight risk so there will be a mandatory detention," he continued. "The marshalls will set that up.”
The disgraced reality star was arrested by federal agents in Arkansas back in April when disturbing pornographic content involving children was found on a computer at his workplace.
He was later charged with two counts of receiving and possessing child pornography, both of which he pleaded not guilty to.
The verdict on the case has been a long time coming since the embattled TV personality postponed his trial date which was originally supposed to start in July.
Instead, the trial kicked off at the end of November, where other members of the famous family, including Jim Bob Duggar, sister Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, were seen watching from the gallery.
Josh’s wife, Anna, showed her husband support throughout the trial after previously insisting that he was innocent of the charges filed against him.

Josh was released from jail on bond one week after his arrest, although Judge Christy Comstock determined at the time that she could not “in good conscience,” send him back to his family home where his minor children live.
He had since been living with family friends and was permitted to be around his kids as long as his wife was present.
The couple share seven children: Mackynzie, 12, Michael, 10, Marcus, 8, Meredith, 6, Mason, 4 and Maryella, 1 and their newest baby, Madyson, whose birth was announced last month.
Despite Anna maintaining her husband’s innocence, the mom-of-seven was seen hurrying out of the courtroom after disturbing evidence was shown during the trial.
As OK! previously reported, the doting mom “rushed out” after the jury was shown samples of the pornographic content, including photos of a minor girl posing nude and a video of two young naked females being penetrated by an adult man.
Josh’s past molestation scandal was often brought up in the trial after the prosecution insisted it was relevant to the current charges against him. (In 2015 an unearthed police report from 2006 revealed that Josh had sexually abused five minor girls, including four of his own sisters).
On December 1, the judge presiding over the case ruled that the molestation scandal would be allowed as evidence in the current trial, which may or may not have contributed to the TK verdict.
