Selma Blair Tucks Son Arthur & Service Dog Scout Into Bed After Spending The Day With The Crew Out In L.A.: 'Two Sleeping Angels'
Selma Blair is making sure her children get a good night sleep.
While the Cruel Intentions actress only shares one son, Arthur Bleick, 10, with long-time beau Jason Bleick, it's safe to say she also treats service dog Scout like one of her own.
On Monday, February 28, Blair shared a loving snap to her Instagram Story of Arthur and Scout fast asleep in bed together while she had a book opened in her hand. "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," she wrote, seemingly referring to what she was reading to her son and dog before they passed out. "And two sleeping angels. Sleep well to you…"

Their tiresome night comes after the Legally Blonde actress spent the day walking around Los Angeles with Arthur and her service dog — who she added to her family to help her with her multiple sclerosis following her August 2018 diagnosis.
While keeping it casual at the start of the week, Blair was seen in a short-sleeve white blouse and a pair of white trousers with Aviator sunglasses protecting her eyes from the harsh California sun. The dog mom wore her short dyed-blonde hair combed to one side, as seen in photos obtained by Daily Mail.
Meanwhile, her kiddo opted for a white-collard t-shirt and light washed denim shorts paired with chestnut UGG boots.
As Blair previously explained in an Instagram post, Scout graduated from service dog training in December 2021. "It has been a year and a half in the making, but today my new partner, Scout, and I graduated ! We are now a service dog team," she captioned her post with the happy pup — who sported a red service dog vest, bandana, and graduation cap — looking at the camera.

After explaining: "Scout helps me with some personal stumbling blocks and aids in my mobility," the Hollywood actress boasted about the newest member of her family, sharing: "He is an English red fox lab and is very good at his job. He is very handsome, and friendly."
And while he may draw people in with his adorable face and good behavior, Blair asked that no one approaches the two, as they are working.
"Distractions really set me back. I am building stamina and coordination with the aid of this special dog and training!" the 49-year-old continued to share with her 2.8 million Instagram followers. "I am excited for this time to focus and settle and get out of the house more. I am so happy to have him. And will share news with you as we evolve."
"If you see me down, do not worry, Scout has me covered. Literally actually," Blair concluded.
It's safe to say she and Scout are off to a good start, as she recently shared chilled-out photos of the two lounging outside together. Alongside photos of Blair cuddling up to her furry friend and giving him kisses as they laid out on an outdoor couch, she wrote: "Tongues are out. Blair and Scout are out. Scouters loves ice And cuddles so nice."
"We are so happy to have him, although he’s really just mine," she comically pointed out, although it's clear Scout also enjoys cuddling up with Arthur.
After three years of treatment — including chemo and a stem cell transplant — for the central nervous system disease, Blair announced in August 2021 that she was finally in remission.
Her journey with MS was documented in her new Discovery+ documentary, Introducing, Selma Blair.
