Steven Tyler scored major win in court as most claims of assault against him got dismissed before trial.

Steven Tyler has secured a major victory in an abuse case against him as the judge throws out most claims before trial begins.
The Aerosmith frontman has been fighting a legal battle since 2022, when one of his ex-girlfriends filed a sexual assault lawsuit against him.
She alleged that the rock star violated her when she was still a minor and he was an adult. She sought damages for the alleged emotional distress he caused her at the time.
Court ruled that Steven Tyler's alleged victim Julia Holcomb's efforts to dismiss evidence that hints at her consent to engage in a relationship with Steven Tyler when she was a minor won't be entertained.
The judge presiding over the case denied the accuser, Julia Holcomb’s efforts to dismiss evidence suggesting that she consented to their three-year-long relationship in the ‘70s.
The judge also ruled that Holcomb cannot highlight an abortion during her relationship with Tyler and any sexual contact they had after she turned 18.
Steven Tyler Scores Major Win in Sexual Assault Case
Steven Tyler is still facing one count of sexual assault against a minor.
The outlet also reported that, according to the judge’s decision, the alleged victim will be allowed to present evidence that the singer supplied her with drugs and alcohol while she was still underage.
The judge also ruled that claims comparing Tyler to a s-- trafficker will not be entertained by the court. The same applies to Holcomb’s comparison of what occurred between her and Tyler to the Holocaust.
Holcomb reportedly also admitted during her deposition that she had been groomed by a woman named Pennie in her teen years before she even met the rocker.

Steven Tyler's accuser, Julia Holcomb claimed that a woman named Pennie groomed her.
She claimed in court that Pennie allegedly took her to concerts and “encouraged me to expect to have oral s–.”
The woman allegedly also conditioned her to dress more seductively and cover her face with more makeup.
“She exposed me to sexual imagery, things that would prepare me to be ready to have s– with someone,” she alleged.

Steven Tyler admitted to meeting Julia Holcomb through Pennie.
Although the rocker has remained steadfast in maintaining his innocence, he did admit that he met his former girlfriend through Pennie.
He testified that during one of his concerts, Pennie brought Holcomb and four other girls to his dressing room.
He also stated that the woman told him at the time, “I brought these girls for you, and you can have your way with them. Just pick one or take them all.”
He also revealed that his alleged victim sat on his lap and they hung out for a while that night.
The two are expected to show up to court next week.
Most claims of sexual assault against Steven Tyler were dismissed with prejudice earlier this year.
Earlier this year, a judge stated that most of the claims in Holcomb's lawsuit would be dismissed with prejudice, as many of the instances allegedly occurred out of state.
Only one count of sexual assault, which allegedly occurred in a hotel and a public hot tub in 1974 when she was 16 years old, remained admissible against Tyler.
The “Hole in My Soul” singer's attorney David Long-Daniels told TMZ at the time, “This is a massive win for Steven Tyler.”
“Today, the court has dismissed with prejudice 99.9% of the claims against Mr. Tyler in this case. The court has decided that only one night fifty-plus years ago out of a three-year relationship is allowed to remain. We look forward to trying this case on August 31,” he added.
