Erika Jayne's Ex Tom Girardi’s Law Firm Auctioning Off Prized Possessions To Recoup Money He Owes, Including Signed Julia Roberts Poster
Once well-respected lawyer Tom Girardi, who is currently facing a mountain of legal troubles, reportedly left valuable goods inside his abandoned law firm offices and the possessions are set to be auctioned off to the highest bidders.
The trustee presiding over Girardi’s involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy case recently hired auction company ThreeSixty Asset Advisors to put together the sale, reported Radar.
The disgraced lawyer — who was allegedly diagnosed with dementia and late-onset Alzheimer's disease earlier this year — reportedly left behind some prized possessions that could fetch a ton of cash. Some of the items include a 100+ bottle wine collection, bronzed statues, a vintage piano and a Cadillac scooter.
A peculiar item found in the lot, that if found the right buyer could be worth a ton of money is a signed movie poster of Hollywood legend Julia Roberts from the Oscar-winning film, Erin Brockovich.
In the prolific film, Roberts plays penniless paralegal Brockovich, whose wit and determination successfully extracted a nearly $460 million settlement from the Pacific Gas and Electric Company due to its compressor station poisoning the townspeople of Hinkley, California, with a toxic chemical.
Girardi gained notoriety as one of the lawyers who helped Brockovich defeat the powerful company. Following the success of the 2000 film, Girardi saw a boom in business, years before he was accused of embezzling millions of dollars to pay for ex Erika Jayne’s lavish lifestyle.

The trustee is hoping that by selling the flashy memorabilia, they will be able to pay off the tens of millions Girardi owes to creditors seeking payment.
Jayne and Girardi — who split in November 2020 — found themselves wrapped up in multiple lawsuits including a civil suit in which Girardi is accused of fraud and embezzling money from a Boeing 737 airplane crash settlement fund.
As OK! previously spilled, a judge ruled on Tuesday, July 6, that Girardi's former clients, the Ruigomez family — who were featured in Hulu’s The Housewife and the Hustler — can pursue a collections lawsuit to get the $11 million Girardi owes them.
