Do we hear wedding bells? Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev finally set a date for their big day, which calls for a celebration.
"We are going to be getting married the weekend of Thanksgiving 2021!" Nikki revealed on the season finale of Total Bellas on Thursday, January 28, as she popped a bottle of champagne with her family.
The exciting news came after Bella, 37, sat her fiancé down for a serious talk about her postpartum struggles after welcoming their first son, Matteo, last July. "I think it’s hard for men to truly understand postpartum," she told Chigvintsev. "Our body goes through so many changes inside and out and the battle we face mentally as moms, as a new mom, figuring that out… I'll be honest, I started to just feel super invisible."
She continued to tell the DWTS pro, 38, how difficult it was for her when he left for filming right after they welcomed their little bundle of joy. "If something makes you feel not happy, I think you should talk to me about it," Chigvintsev responded. "I'm sorry if I made you feel that way."
OK! previously learned that the lovebirds are in couples therapy, as they try to make relationship and life as parents work amid their busy schedules. Last November, Bella explained on The Tamron Hall Show that she and Chigvintsev are going to therapy because they want "to be amazing parents and know how to balance parent life out and also our own relationship."
"Artem and I don't ever want to have a struggle," the mother-of-one added. "You know, we plan on being married."
Bella was previously engaged to John Cena before they called off their engagement in 2018. She first met Chigvintsev when they were partnered on DWTS in 2017. After Bella's split from Cena, the current lovebirds reconnected and were engaged two years later.
The handsome hunk popped the question on a romantic trip to France in November 2019, and they have since been going strong.
After the debut of Total Bella's season finale, Bella shared an adorable snap of the family-of-three via Instagram. "Through thick and thin ❤️," she captioned the snap on Friday, January 29.
