Travis Barker candidly opened up about nearly dying in his 2008 plane crash in a new preview of his upcoming Hulu documentary, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear.
The Blink-182 rock star, 50, shared how he copes with grief and loss following the tragedy that killed four of the six people on board, his mother's death, as well as his wife Kourtney Kardashian's tragic miscarriage.

In the doc, which is set to be released on August 13, the drummer is seen walking toward a jet and noting the idea that "this thing still has power over me” seemed wrong to him.
Barker suffered burns on most of his body following the incident, and suffered with post-traumatic stress disorder as he did not fly on a plane again until August 2021.
The doc then shows Barker and the Poosh founder, 47, walking up the aircraft's steps. “I almost died,” the songwriter said of the plane crash. "[It] could be helpful to share my life.”

Travis Barker recalled 'almost dying' in the horrific plane crash.
“I was in a burn center for six months on morphine and I had 30 surgeries,” he recalled the aftermath of the devastating accident. “Seventy percent of my body was burned.”
“Every loss I had, or every everything I took to the chin, it made me stronger. At the time, I can’t realize it, right? I can’t like really wrap my head around it. But that’s why I went so hard and I was so determined to play music and so determined to succeed. Plan B was only making Plan A work. You know? There was no Plan B," Barker reflected.

Elsewhere in the documentary, the businesswoman and the musician looked back on suffering a miscarriage in 2021 and undergoing several rounds of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
The pair ultimately welcomed son, Rocky, 2, in November 2023 without the use of medical intervention after they stopped IVF treatments that May.
“When we lost the baby, we were devastated. We cried for days," The Kardashians star said in a promo for the doc.
"I think when there's things that can benefit people or help people like relate to something, I think that's always like a green light, especially she's always trying to do something like that," Barker chimed in when he was asked why the pair decided to tell their story on camera.
Travis Barker Says 'So Many People Can Relate' to Miscarriage Heartbreak

The couple welcomed son, Rocky in November 2023.
Ahead of the doc's premiere, Barker sat down with The New York Times' "Popcast" podcast recently where he shared more about the heartbreaking tale.
"Our journey of miscarriages and then IVF and it's failed, resulting in us having a baby naturally — like I feel like that's a story that so many people can relate [to]," he said.
Barker then discussed why he and the reality TV personality opted to share their story in a new documentary, and not on The Kardashians.
"The way the documentary happens is through a series of interviews. I'll say something, and then they're like, 'Oh, well, tell me more about that,' and that's how that came up," he explained.
