One day after debuting her new main squeeze, the talk show titan announced she was ditching Miami for beloved New York City — where The Wendy Williams Show is recorded.
“#Miami is fun, BUT there's no place like #NYC,” she captioned a masked-up selfie via Instagram on Monday, August 23. “It’s GREAT to be home. 💜💜💜.”
She appeared solo in the snap, which was a bit surprising, being that one day prior she sneakily introduced her new man to the world.
"My son’s 21st birthday party on the yacht in #Miami was everything he wanted!,” she captioned a loved-up snap of the duo, before sliding in: “Even my boyfriend.” She shares son Kevin Hunter Jr. with estranged ex, Kevin.
After her tumultuous split from her cheating ex, her followers were happy to see the 57-year-old host smiling and in love.
“Congratulations! Well done Moma💕,” pal and Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger gushed, while matchmaker and MTV host Devyn Simone commented: “You deserve all the happiness in the world 🙌🏽 🙌🏽 🙌🏽.”
“BOYFRIEND?! Girl let me sit patiently for you to return to the Purple chair! 😲🙌🏾,” a third wrote, referring to Williams talk show being on hiatus for summer, while a fourth cheekily said, “Okay!! U keeping secrets.”
It is unclear who the mystery man lovingly admiring the former radio host in the sweet pic is… yet!
Williams sparked long-distance relationship rumors with Mike Esterman back in March after she shared a photo of the two via Instagram. In April, Williams visited Esterman in Maryland, taking in local touchstones as The Cheesecake Factory, Washington, D.C.’s beloved Ben’s Chili Bowl and Mike’s Crab House.
When word spread the perceived duo had called it quits, the talk show diva took to the air to clear up any misinformation on her relationship status. “The headline is that Mike and I have broken up,” she said during her talk show on Wednesday, May 12. “Well, I didn’t know that Mike and I were together.”
She continued: “Mike is in Maryland. Mike works a job, he’s a contractor/social influencer, or whatever he has going on. Whatever he does. Mike, he’s a nice guy, but we are too geographically far from each other.”
