Yolanda Hadid's Fight With Zayn Malik Reportedly Sparked After She 'Barged' Into Gigi Hadid's Home Unannounced
Following Yolanda Hadid and Zayn Malik's headline-making fight, sources have revealed what prompted the alleged altercation between Gigi Hadid's mother and the father of her daughter.
Insiders close to the family revealed to TMZ that the former One Direction member was staying at the 26-year-old's Pennsylvania home at the time of the incident to spend time with their daughter Khai. Without giving Malik notice or even a knock at the door, the former Bravo star reportedly "barged" into the house.
According to sources — this was the catalyst for the confrontation that ended with the "Vibes" singer pleading no contest to 4 criminal charges.
Sources also claimed that this has been an area of conflict within the family for a while, with Malik not feeling comfortable with Yolanda's open door policy. The private musician reportedly feels that the Believe Me author has ignored his position as Gigi's boyfriend and her granddaughter's father.
Insiders explained that the "PILLOWTALK" artist had made it clear to Yolanda that he did not want her in the house at the time as he was reportedly sleeping after working on his music late into the night.

As OK! previously reported, another source of tension between Malik and Yolanda was over the doting grandma sharing photos of his 13-month-old daughter online. The former X Factor contestant was allegedly "so mad" that in one of the photos, the little girl's reflection could be seen from a mirror in the background.
During the September 29 incident, Yolanda claimed that Malik "struck" her. According to court documents, during the explosive argument, the 28-year-old called the matriarch a "f***ing Dutch sl*t," and demanded she "stay away from [my] f***ing daughter."
Legal papers stated that Malik allegedly "shoved her [Yolanda] into a dresser causing mental anguish and physical pain." The star was also charged with harassing the mother of his child (who he is no longer with) as he reportedly screamed at her over the phone to "Strap on some f***ing balls and defend your partner against your f***ing mother in my house."
A representative for Malik told TMZ in a statement, "Zayn remains at home, working and recording his music while he and Gigi begin the process of working with a mediator to determine new co-parenting arrangements since they are no longer together."
