Oh, the cravings! They come out of nowhere and the next thing you know you're shoving a gooey slice of greasy pizza in your mouth or taking a big bite out of that Big Mac. Can you taste it now? Well hold it right there. Instead of indulging in those notoriously unhealthy meals, celebrity chef Paula Hankin has a few ideas that are just as quick, tasty and way, way better for you.
Check out the video above where she explains her Quinoa burgers that are super delicious. They are surprisingly quick to whip up, you can top them with your favorite kind of cheese and then stick them in an adorable lettuce pocket with tomato and onion. Voila! You'll feel nice and full after something yummy, your burger craving is satiated and you didn't consume a million calories!
While we were at super fun and friendly playspace Frolic in NYC, Paula also explained one of her favorite treats: the mini whole wheat tortilla pizzas. Come on, how delicious does that look? Again, good for your figure and your time frame. A winning combination! They are as simple as topping a tortilla with your favorite sauce, cheese, protein and a few veggies. Paula chose ground turkey, mushrooms and olives but feel free to great creative in your concoctions. For both recipes so you can try these treats at home, just see below.
