Kim Kardashian Spends Quality Time With Kanye West and North West Following Marriage Drama

Kim Kardashian spent some quality time with her husband, Kanye West, and their daughter North West amid their marriage issues. On August 22, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared a slew of photos from her nature outing with her family. 

In the photos — which the 39-year-old simply captioned with a surfing emoji — Kardashian is seen paddleboarding with North, 7, on a lake. The last snapshot showed Kardashian wearing a black latex outfit with sunglasses alongside her husband and her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, in addition to their family friend Harry Hudson. Hudson and West were kneeling down while the Kardashian sisters struck a pose for the camera. 

Of course, Rob Kardashian couldn’t help but comment on the adorable pictures by adding some strong hand emojis and blue heart emojis. One fan wrote, “The last photo goes hard,” while another added, “Squad.”

Just a few days earlier on August 19, the rapper, 43, uploaded a video of him kissing his wife while they were at his Sunday Services event. “WE’RE STEPPING OUT ON FAITH,” he wrote. 

Kardashian and West — who share kids North, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 14 months — have been through their fair share of ups and downs this year. After West revealed they almost aborted North during a rally in South Carolina, the Chicago native went on a Twitter rant about his relationship with Kardashian and how he had been “trying to get divorced” from her for years. 

Following the controversial comments, the mom of four released a statement about what the ‘Jesus Walks’ singer had been going through. “Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

“People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try,” she continued. 

West later issued an apology to his wife. “I did not cover her like she has covered me. To Kim, I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me,” he wrote. 

The Kardashian-West clan later took a trip to the Dominican Republic to hash out their issues and reconnect as a couple, which seemed to work. However, West has been spending more time at their home in Wyoming while Kardashian resides in California.

Now, the dad of four seems to be back with his brood for the time being. “He is still busy working on his music and presidential campaign, but really missed the kids and flew to see them,” a source told PEOPLE. “They are all spending the weekend at their Hidden Hills house and catching up as a family.”
