Alec Baldwin Spotted Looking 'Sullen' At Dinner With Wife Hilaria As Duo Returns To NYC Following Tragic Shooting Death Of Halyna Hutchins

Alec Baldwin was spotted grabbing some grub with his wife Hilaria in New York City — the outing marked the first time the actor was spotted in the Big Apple after laying low in Vermont following the tragic shooting death of Halyna Hutchins.

In photos obtained by Daily Mail, the 30 Rock alum looked rather depressed while eating at celeb hotspot II Cantinori in Manhattan on Sunday, November 7.

The 63-year-old veteran actor wore a black coat and his hair disheveled while his yoga instructor wife sported a casual flannel sweater. “We were very surprised to see him out because we knew he hasn't been seen in public [in New York] since the accident,” a restaurant spy spilled.

“He looked very rough and not very polished. He seemed very sullen,” an onlooker dished, noting no fans approached the duo during the dinner outing.

On Thursday, October 21, Hutchins and director Joel Souza were accidentally “shot when a prop firearm was discharged” by Baldwin at the Bonanza Creek Ranch set of Rust in New Mexico. The 42-year-old cinematographer was immediately rushed to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Following the horrific incident, Baldwin and his brood jetted off to Vermont, where an insider dished the duo were attempting to shield their six kids from the hoopla surrounding the tragedy.

“Alec and Hilaria left the city and are laying low with the kids,” a source explained of the pair at the time. “They do go out occasionally to pick up dinner, but are mostly trying to protect the kids' privacy and just spend quiet time together as a family.”

Hilaria, 37, and the Knots Landing alum tied the knot in June 2012 and share children: Lucia, Eduardo "Edu", Romeo, Leonardo, Rafael, and Carmen. Alec also shares 26-year-old daughter Ireland with ex Kim Basinger.

In a tweet on Monday, November 8, The Boss Baby star advocated for new safety measures on film and television productions, writing, “Every film/TV set that uses guns, fake or otherwise, should have a police officer on set, hired by the production, to specifically monitor weapons safety.”
