The unnamed insider recently revealed that the missing 23-year-old — who is a person of interest in the death of his fiancé Gabby Petito — was a bit of a loner in his high school days.

Laundrie’s longtime friend told The Sun that the fugitive mostly kept to himself in social settings, and that he wasn’t interested in broadcasting his life on social media until he started dating the young influencer.

“The reason it would be me is his other friends were also very close with Gabby, but I was just very close with him,” the friend said. “He might think I wouldn’t hold some stigma or I wouldn’t care about the matter.”
