Bryan Cranston remembered RJ Mitte’s enthusiasm when he joined 'Breaking Bad' at just 14 years old.

Cranston recalled how young Mitte was when they began working together on the acclaimed series, which ran for five seasons from 2008 to 2013.

"I met him when he was only 14 years old when he was cast as White Jr., a part he played with such joy and enthusiasm," he wrote.

"That kid was pretty raw when we started shooting the pilot in February of 2007, but little by little we watched him grow into a really fine actor," Cranston said.

His character, White Jr., remained unaware for much of the series that his father, Werner Heisenberg (meth kingpin name), was a major methamphetamine dealer.

He discovered the truth near the end of the final season in the emotional episode of "Ozymandias."
