‘Cloaked UFO’ Appears to Emerge From Cloud Above Canadian Town in Bizarre New Image

A mysterious photograph appeared to show a glowing, saucer-shaped formation emerging from a cloud above Canadian Town, Canmore, Alberta, leaving social media users shocked over a new bizarre UFO sighting or a striking natural phenomenon.

The image was reportedly taken on August 2 and was shared by Chary Woods in a Facebook group called The Cloud Appreciation Society, dedicated to clouds.

The unusual formation stretched horizontally across the sky above mountains, trees, homes and a road, with a bright point of light appearing through the thinner cloud near its dark center.

Per Daily Mail, UFO researcher Scott C Waring interpreted the dark oval at the center of the formation as a classic disk-shaped alien craft hidden within the cloud.

"This is a UFO cloaked within a cloud that it created," Waring wrote on his UFO Sightings Daily website.

He added, "When you add contrast to the photo, the alien classic disk craft becomes visible at its center."

Waring further claimed that extraterrestrial craft had used the alleged technique for millions of years.

"UFOs use clouds to fly closer to the ground in order to scan the thoughts of humans below," he said.

"I think UFO researchers worldwide will agree with me on this," he continued.

However, no evidence had emerged to establish that the shape was a physical craft or that extraterrestrial beings were involved.

The photo quickly sparked mixed reactions, with some embracing the UFO theory while others focused on the cloud’s unusual appearance.

One person compared the formation to The Lord of the Rings character, "Sauron?"

Another viewer wrote, "The picture looks real by the contrast of the gate in the foreground. The star family is returning home again from the stars."

A third commenter simply declared, "Yes, I do believe in UFOs!!!"

"With AI tricks we now are stuck wondering if this beauty is real. It’s fascinating!" one user wrote.

Several people praised the photo, calling it an “amazing” and “fabulous” capture.

Per the Daily Mail, the image file did not contain original camera metadata that could have confirmed when, where, or with what device the photograph was taken.

A visual examination found no obvious irregularities, with the lighting, shadows, haze, and surrounding landscape appearing internally consistent. However, the PNG file appeared to have been exported or processed, meaning its authenticity could not be conclusively established.

The shape also resembled a naturally occurring lenticular cloud that can form over mountains and is often mistaken for a flying saucer.

For now, the apparent UFO remained an unexplained shape within a striking cloud rather than confirmed evidence of an alien spacecraft.
