'SNL' Alum Horatio Sanz Sued For Sexually Assaulting Fan When She Was A Minor, Comedian Reportedly Denies Shocking Claims
Saturday Night Live alum Horatio Sanz has been accused of sexually assaulting an underage fan.
The Tomcats star is reportedly being sued by a woman in Pennsylvania, who alleged she was groomed by Sanz for sex. She claims he sexually assaulted her at an after-party when he grabbed her breast and her butt in front of numerous NBC employees.
According to the suit, obtained by OK!, the 52-year-old assaulted the woman in May 2002, when she was only 17. She also alleges he supplied her with alcohol at a couple SNL cast parties in New York City.
The unidentified woman alleges she met the funny man when she was 15 and was running a fan site dedicated to the hit NBC sketch-comedy series. In the docs, she alleges Sanz immediately starting to groom her for sex by being flirty when they met in person.
The woman claims their online communication would become increasingly sexual prompted by Sanz. She alleges that he knew she was underage at the time of the sexual assault.

After the shocking claims, the accuser alleges she became extremely depressed and ashamed. She says she turned to “dissociative drugs” as a way to cope with the negative feelings and eventually had to be hospitalized for treatment.
The documents state the woman ran into Sanz in 2019 at a comedy event in Manhattan. During their interaction, she alleges he admitted to having “cybersex” with her and that he masturbated during their online interactions when she was a teen. She also claims he sent her text messages where he admitted wrongdoing and claimed he had changed.
The woman is suing Sanz, NBCUniversal and SNL studio for an unspecified amount in damages.
The Chilean-born actor’s lawyer shot down the bombshell accusations, calling the claims “categorically false” and “ludicrous.” The attorney also claims that Sanz’s accuser tried to extort him for “$7.5 million in exchange for silence,” but he “refused.”
Andrew Brettler declared to TMZ that he and his client “will vigorously contest these totally meritless claims.”
