Jana Kramer Spotted On Date With Kristin Cavallari's Ex-Husband Jay Cutler Following Divorce From Mike Caussin
Putting herself back out there. Jana Kramer has entered the dating world once again following her recent divorce from ex Mike Caussin.
After revealing that she was “entertaining” the idea of dating again, the One Tree Hill alum reportedly went on a date with Kristin Cavallari’s ex-husband Jay Cutler.
A source told PEOPLE, “so far it’s just been one date” — but users on social media haven’t been shy to jump to conclusions.
Rumors started swirling about Cutler and Kramer after fans allegedly spotted them enjoying a night out in Nashville at Bourbon Steak and L.A. Jackson, per the @cocktailsandgossip Instagram account.
An alleged friendship between Kramer and Cavallari has caused fans to think the “I Got The Boy” singer is breaking girl code by dating the Uncommon James founder’s ex — although the source claimed that isn’t the case.
“Kristin and Jana are just acquaintances and have only met twice," the source added. "They’re not friends."
Another source revealed to the outlet that Cutler may have ulterior motives in dating the “Whine Down” podcast host.
“Jay was trying to make Kristin jealous by going on this public date with Jana,” the source claimed. "He’s not happy she’s dating Chase [Rice] and has been trying to get Kristin back."
Kramer, 37, recently told PEOPLE that she was starting to think about dating again, but insisted that she was looking for something serious.
“I think I had to just take some time to be alone, but I’m starting to dip my toes in again,” the country singer shared. “There’s still a lot of work I have to do healing-wise, but I am entertaining things.”
“There have been a few DM slides...the game’s different for me now. I’m not looking to just have a fling. I want to find my person,” she said.
Kramer shares two children, daughter Jolie, 5, and son Jace, 2, with Caussin. The former couple called things off earlier this year after the former football player reportedly cheated multiple times throughout their relationship.
The “Whiskey” singer was recently tied to Graham Bunn, and Kramer addressed rumors down to E!’s Daily Pop.
“Graham and I have been friends for like seven years,” she said. "He used to work at the radio station — country radio station. We had been friends and we are still friends and we're just friendly.”
“Sure, we are in an entanglement. We’re dancing the line of friends. We’re dancing the line and I am happy,” she added at the time.
“They were introduced through a mutual friend….They’re having fun together,” a source told PEOPLE.
