Jason Sudeikeis' Friends Think Olivia Wilde & Harry Styles' New Romance Is A 'PR Stunt' To 'Promote' Their New Movie

All for show? Jason Sudeikis’ pals are suspicious about the new photos of Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde holding hands at an intimate wedding in Montecito, Calif., OK! has learned. 

“The photos were way too carefully composed — a photographer just happened to be in the perfect spot at the perfect moment to capture the first picture of the new couple together looking perfect? It was a private pandemic wedding and yet these amazing pictures were taken. Jason’s friends and many others in Hollywood think it is a PR stunt to promote the movie Harry and Olivia are working on together,” a source exclusively tells OK!.  

Wilde and Sudeikis’ split happened “almost a year ago,” but they only recently went public with the news, which is why he is shocked by the new images.

“Jason and Olivia managed to keep their split secret for almost a year. They are both very private and have a very close, small circle that never leak anything to the press. What happened a couple of days ago is so out of character for Olivia,” adds a friend. “The relationship may be real, but the decision to announce it in this way feels very off.”

At the wedding, Wilde, 36, and Styles, 26, “were affectionate around their friends, held hands and looked very happy,” a source spilled. “They have dated for a few weeks.”

The new duo seemed to get cozy on the set of their movie, Don’t Worry Darling, which the actress is directing. 

"They clicked immediately – they’re both very artistic, passionate people and it was one of those things where straight away everyone could see they had a spark," another insider revealed. 

Even though Wilde and Styles’ romance is new, it seems like The O.C. alum already introduced the musician to her kids, Otis, 6, and Daisy, 4, whom she shares with Sudeikis, 45. 

“They were professional on set, but everyone knew something was going on," the insider spilled. "Harry even met her two children several times when they came to the set to visit."

Despite the Hollywood stars — who have a 10-year age gap — moving quickly, it seems like they hit it off in the fall when their movie started to film. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there weren’t many people on set, which is how they were able to keep their relationship status under wraps. 

The two were even said to have spent time at James Corden’s Palm Springs, Calif., home, which is where they were able to strengthen their bond even more.
