The stars appear to be aligning for a Bennifer 2.0 reconciliation! Newly-single Jennifer Lopez made headlines when she and her former fiancé, Ben Affleck, were caught secretly rendezvousing at the singer’s mansion in Los Angeles.
OK! was the first to exclusively report that Lopez and her ex — who called off their September 2003 wedding, broke up, then got back together before ultimately calling it quits in early 2004 — have been in private communication since she ended her relationship with former New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez.
Then, OK! learned that Affleck was spotted multiple times secretly visiting the “If You Had My Love” singer at her house during the day. The actor was snapped being picked up in a white Escalade SUV, which apparently belongs to J.Lo, before being escorted to her mansion.
In a clear attempt to avoid being seen, a source spilled: "Security picks [Affleck] up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house,” while noting that the ex-couple has not actually been photographed together. Affleck allegedly visited Lopez three times since she returned home from filming Shotgun Wedding in the Dominican Republic.
A bombshell report has now come out that the former flames' hangout was not a one-and-done ordeal — the duo “plan on hanging out again” since the two single stars are both currently in Los Angeles at the same time. “They have a great time hanging out,” a source added. “It’s been years since they caught up properly. They have lots to talk about.”
Leading up to Lopez and Affleck’s L.A. reunion, the Gone Girl star gushed about his former love on the record for InStyle’s May 2021 cover story on J.Lo, praising her “work ethic” and declaring that she is the “hardest-working person” he’s ever come across in Hollywood.

The Maid in Manhattan actress acted shocked after hearing such kind words from her ex, but OK! exclusively learned that Lopez wasn’t surprised at all.
“InStyle asked Jennifer who they should talk to about her for the cover story. It was Jen who gave them Ben’s name,” a source previously told OK!. “Ben and Jen have been talking in private a lot over the past few months, and now the world knows just how close the two of them are again. When things started to get bad with Alex, Jen turned to Ben for advice.”
The insider continued: “She is the rebound girl when it comes to love. After she broke up with Ben, Jen went running back to the arms of Marc Anthony," adding, “it makes sense she will go running back to Ben.”
PEOPLE was the first to report that Lopez and Affleck plan to hang out again.
