During a Friday, August 21 interview on NewsNation’s Katie Pavlich Tonight, 19-year-old Kai Trump opened up about her mom's recent health struggles.
She revealed that her mom, Vanessa Trump, who was diagnosed with b----- cancer in May, is doing better despite a challenging period of medical procedures and operations.
The teen Trump, who has been conducting interviews from her freshman dorm at the University of Miami, said Vanessa is on the road to recovery.
‘Hopefully she just continues getting better,’ Kai Trump said of her cancer-stricken mom, Vanessa.
“Yeah, she's doing a lot better. She went through treatment, got surgery, but she's doing better. It's been a little bit of a rocky road, but she's feeling better now, and hopefully she just continues getting better,” the aspiring golfer said.
The 48-year-old ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. and mother-of-five has been focused heavily on her recovery over the summer after revealing her diagnosis to the public.
Following a June surgery, she spent four weeks successfully recovering before entering her current phase of treatment.

Kai Trump Dedicates Merch Line Honoring Mom’s Cancer Battle
Kai Trump launched a dedicated merch line in honor of her mother Vanessa’s cancer journey.
She emphasized her desire to give back to families navigating the same emotional and physical hardships.
“Yeah, well, since my mom had breast cancer, I wanted to give back to families that also have been going through the same thing with their family members. So I'm gonna be donating to a lot of breast cancer foundations just to give back to families, because I know what it is like to go through it, and I wanna give them my support,” she said.
‘It’s Tough’
Kai Trump admitted its ’not easy’ to be in a situation where a family member has cancer.
When asked what advice she has for families experiencing the same frightening situation as hers, Kai said, “It's tough. It's definitely not easy, but if you can support your family member or your friend or whoever's going through it, just be there and support them. And just always spend time with them. Give them the time that they need and just support them.”
