Kanye West's Marital Meltdown: Rapper Won't Take Off His Ring, 'Anxious' Over Kim Kardashian Split
Despite the fact that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have been living separate lives for months now and reportedly pulled out of marriage counseling in January, the rapper still seems to be grappling with the reality that his relationship with his estranged wife is crumbling.
"Kanye is not doing well," a source dished. "He is anxious and very sad. He knows that the marriage is over, and there's nothing that can be done right now. He also knows what he is losing in Kim."
After a tumultuous year for the former power couple, OK! learned that the KKW beauty founder planned to file the paperwork for their "imminent" divorce by February 14, so she can focus on the couples' four children: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, who turns 2 in May, and her "business empire."
"There is very little hope of reconciliation," the source added. "It would have to be a miracle. But Kanye does believe in miracles."
However, Kardashian has already come to terms with the fact that she and West "are just not on the same page when it comes to their future as a family," according to a source. And while they'd have to settle a custody agreement over their children — since their prenup contained nothing in regards to what would happen with their kids if they ever were to divorce — Kardashian, 40, still seems to want West in their kids' lives.
"Kim has made it clear that Kanye can talk to his children anytime he wants," the insider disclosed. "She has never threatened to keep him from the kids. She only requires that he is not going to damage them. Kanye can FaceTime the kids anytime he wants. He hasn't been great about that, but everyone is encouraging him to do it."

The source added that the brunette beauty "doesn't want to hurt" the "Power" crooner, 43, but "she just knows she can't be married to him anymore. He is very aware that she has been a good wife. He still loves her very much. But he understands."
While West may "understand," it looks like he still doesn't want to let go of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
In photos obtained by Page Six, West was seen still wearing his wedding band during an outing in Malibu on Wednesday, February 17. As OK! previously reported, the former U.S. presidential candidate returned to California from Wyoming (where he had been staying during the couple's marital mess) to "get his stuff, meet with lawyers and look for a new home for him and his children."
On the other hand, Kardashian is certainly ready to close the chapter on their marriage, as she's already been spotted without her emerald-cut diamond ring. In pictures exclusively obtained by OK!, Kardashian was seen arriving to an office building earlier this week without her engagement ring.
PEOPLE was the first to report that West "is not doing well" as the reality of losing the KUWTK reality star sets in.
