Kelly Ripa doesn't co-host Live with Ryan Seacrest anymore, but that won't stop her from trolling him!
During the Thursday, April 2, episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, were deep in a discussion about undergarments when the mom-of-three was reminded of Seacrest's silly mishaps on the set of the hit ABC talk show.
At one point in their intimate conversation, Consuelos, who replaced Seacrest on Live in 2023, quipped, "You should make sure you have a cotton crotch."
'Ryan Seacrest Would Split His Pants Here a Lot!'
Mark Consuelos replaced Ryan Seacrest as Kelly Ripa's co-host on'Live' in 2023.
"I heard that [the] previous guy here, Ryan Seacrest, would split his pants here a lot!" Consuelos added, turning to his wife to weigh in.
"He'd split his pants constantly," Ripa confessed almost a decade after Seacrest joined her as co-host in 2017.
Reminiscing, Ripa asked Live executive producer Michael Gelman, "Do you remember when Ryan would split his pants just doing random [things]?"
'He Liked a Tighter Fit'
Ryan Seacrest frequently had wardrobe malfunctions on the set of 'Live.'
In response, Gelman admitted, "Yeah, there were wardrobe malfunctions!"
"He liked a tighter fit, but then he'd do athletic things..." he recalled, though Ripa interrupted, exclaiming, "Athletic things? He bent over once! He picked up a tissue and he split his pants!"
While Consuelos got a kick out of the hilarious memory, the Riverdale actor isn't one to talk, as he's suffered his own embarrassing outfit ordeal on the set of Live during his time as a co-host.

Mark Consuelos' Zipper Was Down During 'Live' Broadcast
Mark Consuelos accidentally had his zipper down during a March 2025 episode of 'Live.'
In March 2025, Consuelos and Ripa were transitioning into the show's Stump Mark segment when he yelled, "My zipper's down!"
"Did anybody notice that?" Ripa asked, as Consuelos revealed, "My fly was down the whole time!"
The Hope & Faith actress is no stranger to wardrobe chaos either, as she was "still getting dressed" while sitting down at the start of a December 2025 episode of Live.
Kelly Ripa Was Once 'Half-Dressed' for Talk Show
Kelly Ripa almost wasn't ready in time during a December 2025 episode of 'Live.'
"I'm not gonna lie, 10 seconds ago I was not dressed at all," Ripa shared as she fidgeted with her clothes. "Now, I’m sort of half-dressed."
Ripa's husband used the opportunity to playfully flirt with his wife, declaring, "Let me see. Let me check you out."
"I’m missing a lot of things," she stressfully said, as Consuelos assured her, "It looks good!"
Just like Consuelos did months prior, Ripa pulled the zipper of her pants closed in front of viewers, adding, "Look, it’s fine. We’re all together. I think my fly is up. We’re fine."
