Meghan Markle is not slowing down her post-royal work just because her family is heading back to the U.K.

The Duchess of Sussex, 45, is preparing for an extended stay in England with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5. And as the couple returns as private citizens with a non-royal home base, Meghan’s business and entertainment plans appear to be moving full speed ahead.

Her lifestyle brand, As Ever, announced a new spiced apple butter this week, calling it a “fall favorite” made with orchard apples and fragrant spices. The 7.6-ounce jar went on sale Aug. 26, just as the family’s transatlantic move was taking shape.

Meghan Markle’s brand launched a spiced apple butter on Aug. 26, inspired by a recipe she previously shared on The Tig.

The new spread has a personal echo for Meghan. In 2015, on her now-defunct lifestyle blog The Tig, she shared her grandmother’s apple butter toast recipe, which she said she had “tweaked and modernized.”

That earlier version paired homemade apple butter with whipped ricotta and Marcona almonds.

“This recipe is great because it’s a little bit savoury, and a little bit sweet,” Meghan wrote at the time.

More As Ever launches are reportedly planned for the rest of the year.

Meghan’s business ventures, including As Ever, Archewell Productions and Archewell Philanthropies, will remain based in the United States while the family spends an extended period in Britain.

Meghan’s Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan is nominated for a Daytime Emmy, and she may be stepping back toward the career that made her famous before she married Prince Harry.

She has reportedly been in talks for a role in the third season of The Gentlemen, the Guy Ritchie-created Netflix drama filmed in the U.K. The potential casting would mark Meghan’s biggest scripted on-screen role since she left Suits ahead of her 2018 wedding.

Despite previously indicating she had no intention to return to acting after marrying, People reported Meghan and Harry had been discussing the possibility before The Gentlemen opportunity emerged.

Meghan Markle had already continued working with Netflix through ‘With Love, Meghan’, a holiday special, and a cameo in the upcoming film ‘Close Personal Friends’.

Meghan has already eased back in front of the camera through Netflix, filming two seasons and a holiday special of With Love, Meghan, plus a cameo as herself in the upcoming film Close Personal Friends.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex first signed with Netflix in 2020 and extended the relationship in 2025 with a multi-year, first-look deal for film and television projects.

When asked at the Edinburgh TV Festival about Meghan’s rumored casting in The Gentlemen, Netflix U.K. scripted chief Manda Levin kept the door open, saying, “all bets are off.”
