School is session for Prince William's son, Prince George, 13, as well as for Prince Harry's kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.
The royal cousins are beginning their fall semesters at different educational institutions in the United Kingdom on Tuesday, September 8, even as the estranged brothers remain no closer to healing their rift.

Prince William's son, Prince George, 13, started Eton College on September 8.
An insider told Rob Shuter for his Substack page recently how the first day of school is "bittersweet" for the young kiddos.
“These children didn’t create this feud. They’re cousins. Whatever happened between William and Harry shouldn’t become their inheritance," the source explained.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Moved Back to England Last Month

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved back to the U.K. in August.
William, 45, and Harry's relationship soured once the Duke of Sussex, 41, and his wife, Meghan Markle, 45, left the royal family in 2020 and set up a new life in Montecito, Calif.
Meghan and Harry only just recently moved back to the U.K. last month, and are expected to stay for a prolonged and unspecified period of time.
The Invictus Games founder and the Prince of Wales' brotherly love was further damaged when Harry dropped his bombshell memoir, Spare, in 2023, where he reflected on growing up in William's shadow.

Prince George Is Currently Attending Eton College

Prince George has been prepping to attend Eton College for 'his entire life.'
“The symbolism is extraordinary,” another source told Shuter. “George, Archie and Lilibet are starting school on the same day, in the same country, but because of their parents, they could still be worlds apart.”
While the name of Archie and Lilibet's school has not yet been disclosed, George is currently attending Eton College. The all-boys boarding school is located near Windsor Castle and is also the alma mater of both William and Harry.
The Duke of Cambridge was a pupil of Eton from 1995 to 2000, while the army veteran attended from 1998 until 2003.
Eton College Is Home to Many A-List Alumni

Prince William and Prince Harry both attended Eton College in the '90s and early 2000s.
Shuter's source also divulged how going to Eton is a major step for George, as he's "been preparing for it his entire life."
“Archie and Lilibet are entering a completely new world. New country, new schools, new classmates. For children, that's enormous," they added.
Before heading to Eton, George attended the private prep academy, Lambrook School, alongside his siblings, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.
Eton College was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI and costs about $84,000 per year. The institution boasts many notable alumni including former U.K. prime ministers Boris Johnson and David Cameron, as well as actors Tom Hiddleston, Eddie Redmayne, Jonah Hauer-King and Hugh Laurie.
