'It's Not Healthy': Braunwyn-Windham Burke Declares She May Not Return To 'RHOC' After Costars 'Attacked' Her 'All Year'
She’s had enough! After a whirlwind season on Real Housewives of Orange County, Braunwyn Windham-Burke has declared that she doesn’t want to return for another season “and be attacked all year again,” noting that “it was stressful.”

“It’s not healthy,” the reality star said, adding that it’s also “not fun” to be ganged up against by her costars as she navigates life after coming out as a lesbian late last year.
The 43-year-old blonde beauty also admitted that she nearly broke her sobriety due to the pressures surrounding the RHOC reunion special she was obligated to film.
“Before the reunion I was right there next to my bed, on the floor, crying hysterically,” she said. “I almost drank — I mean this is horrible to say — I almost drank because I thought if I drink, I can go to rehab and won’t have to go to the reunion.”

The Bravo star added that it “seemed like a perfectly logical explanation” to her because that’s what was going through her head at the time. “I almost drank so I wouldn’t have to do my job,” she said, as she was tearing up. “My sobriety is not fake, and this is hard, and I do struggle.”
In the season 15 finale on Wednesday, Windham-Burke was in the crosshairs of her co-stars as they confronted her about her lifestyle. Costar Gina Kirschenheiter asked her if she was still in love with her husband, Sean Burke, after she came out as a gay.
“I love him,” she replied. “We made a commitment that we’re going to fight for our marriage and that was the commitment we made and that’s what we are currently doing.”

RHOC star Emily Simpson, in a confessional during the explosive finale, continued to attack Windham-Burke, calling her “selfish,” adding: “I think every decision Braunwyn makes in life is to better Braunwyn.”
OK! previously reported that Windham-Burke came out as a lesbian in December 2020, when she debuted her new girlfriend Kris on social media.
Braunwyn and her husband tied the knot in 2000 and share seven children together: Bella, Rowan, Jacob, Koa, Hazel and twins Caden and Curren. The modern couple seem to be making their open marriage work, as they were spotted visiting a sex shop together earlier this week.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
